Operasi Bersepadu Keselamatan Jalan Raya has become an annual operation conducted in collaboration with several agencies since 1997. The aim of this operation is to ensure the traffic safety during festive seasons such as Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Deepavali, Christmas Day and Chinese New Year. In the recent ops operation-Ops Hari Raya XXI, an Origin-Destination Study was carried out to examine the public transport trip generation and distribution pattern within Malaysia. This study used two type of questionnaires method, that were personally administered and electronic questionnaires. Initially, 2000 respondents were planned to be involved in this study. However, only 1727 responded and filled up the questionnaire completely. The face-to-face interview survey was conducted for five days at five public transport terminals in Kuala Lumpur during the selected date while another set of questionnaire in the email form have been sent through email beforehand. Generally, this study concluded that most of the respondents used private transport as their mode of transport to move around kampong during Hari Raya. .
